Worcester Arts Council is a membership organisation funded by Worcester City Council with the remit to “promote the arts in Worcester”. It does this by sponsoring a prize at the Worcester Competitive Arts Festival, promoting its members activities though the website and social media, and awarding its members small grants for things such as capital items, funding events and offering a “Guarantee Against Loss” for shows and events.
